Facilities and Hours

Recreation is comprised of the Recreation Fitness Center and Recreation Esports. The Recreation Fitness Center is located on the basement level of the U–SU and the Recreation Game Room is located on the first floor at room 104. They are open to all students, staff and faculty.

Know the rules

Shoes, attire, and check-in all have rules. The essentials are right below.

What to know before you walk in

Closed-toe athletic shoes

Non-marking soles in every activity area. No sandals, cleats, socks, or hard soles — group fitness and special classes excepted.

Athletic attire, no denim

A shirt or top at all times in public areas. Denim is not permitted in any fitness activity area.

Check in at the Front Desk

Every visit, for activity spaces and locker rooms alike. Guests need a staff member to authorize access each time.

Sealed, non-glass drinks

Food is not permitted in activity areas, and beverages have to be in a sealed, non-glass container.

Headphones on, cameras off

No devices in the locker rooms or restrooms, and no recording anyone. Music through headphones, never a speaker.

Park your wheels outside

Bikes, scooters, skateboards, and hoverboards go in the designated racks. ADA assistance devices are always welcome.

Recreation is tobacco–free: no smoking, vaping, or alcohol. Service animals only. Personal training is for certified Recreation instructors and staff. The full facility policies cover everything else.
